Dear TREOS Wine Supporters,
We first want to thank each and every one of you for the support you have shown TREOS Wines. It has been a great adventure and fabulous experience bringing our wines to you. We hope they have created enjoyment and good memories in each occasion they accompanied.
When we started in the wine business, we set goals and have amazingly met those goals in only seven years of commercial sales. We have loyal and enthusiastic wine club members. Our wines are placed in some of the most prestigious restaurants in Oregon, and have been recognized with numerous awards and accolades. Three of our wines received Editor Choice awards from Wine Enthusiast magazine and our Albariño scored one of the three highest scores in the world four years running.
We have now decided we are at the time in our lives when we want to pursue other life goals. Making, selling and distributing our wines has taken more time than we anticipated and we’ve decided to use that time in accomplishing other things that we have yet to do.
We’ve decided to transition from making wine from our grapes to selling grapes to others, who will still be able to make fantastic wines from the wonderful vineyard stock we have. We are already co-branding our wines in different products with other producers (e.g., Vivacity TREOS brandy) and plan to do more of this in the future.
As we transition, we aren’t leaving you in the lurch! We will continue to have our Open House events on Memorial Day, Labor Day and Thanksgiving weekends in 2020, as long as our wine inventory lasts. We have stopped bringing on new Club Members but we will offer our existing Club Members special Spring and Fall Shipments in 2020, as well as Club special pricing on wines.
During our Thanksgiving tasting weekend through 2020, we plan to offer specials on Treos wines. That way everyone can stock up on some of their favorites. We will continue our Treos newsletter to let you know when these events will be happening and the special sales as they come.
